NEXT STEP scholarships
Student Scholarship Program:
The Pivoting in Heels Scholarship recognizes young women who are committed to completing their education while making a meaningful difference in their communities.
A total of six $2,000 scholarships will be awarded to deserving students who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership, community involvement, and a commitment to serving others:
2 Law Scholarships (for students pursuing legal studies)
2 Creative Scholarships (for students pursuing creative fields or majors)
2 General Scholarships (open to students in any field of study or major)
Each scholarship will be distributed in two installments of $1,000 per semester, contingent upon the recipient remaining enrolled and meeting scholarship requirements.
To remain eligible for the second-semester award, recipients will be required to participate in a scheduled Zoom meeting with the Pivoting in Heels Scholarship Team between semesters. This meeting provides an opportunity for recipients to share updates on their academic progress, personal growth, and community involvement while allowing the team to continue supporting them throughout their educational journey.
Application Window: Monday, August 1 – Thursday, September 10
Eligibility
Applicants must:
Be a legal resident of the United States of America.
Be a young woman currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, trade school, or graduate program.
Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 (C average) or higher.
Be in good academic standing.
Demonstrate involvement in community service, leadership, or extracurricular activities.
Plan to complete their current educational program.
